After two months, I'm back. And what have I got to show for my absence? Nothing more than a single script. And for a 50's B-movie, nonetheless. Oh, well. Enjoy
Subs are strangely disappearing around the North Pole, and the atomic sub (hence, the title) Tiger Shark, and her crew - of course - are sent to investigate. This film bears a few notable similarities with James Cameron's sci-fi epic, The Abyss:
1) The Opening: A submarine is sunk by a glowing object which quickly zooms by.
2) The Climax: First contact aboard a gigantic living ship.
3) A conflict between military and scientific procedures.
Of course, with similarities come differences:
1) The aliens are far from benevolent.
2) The logic is far from plausible.
3) The military way is the right way.
